Biotech Beach
Our focus is on the geographic region around Greater San Diego, affectionately known as Biotech Beach. This region has a tremendous diversity of enterprises – small, medium and large – and has a particularly high concentration of bioscientists and biotech entrepreneurs due partially to educational institutions like UCSD and the Scripps Institute. Perhaps not coincidentally, San Diego County is also the most biologically diverse county in the contiguous United States, which makes it an interesting place to study biodiversity and biological systems.
Software Engineering for Life Sciences
On the Information Technology front, we have a combined decade of experience working with PhD scientists on meeting their data needs in fields as varied as Natural Language Processing, Speech Recognition, Speech Generation and Social Science research through polling. We primarily develop on the Microsoft platform with .NET technologies.
